There shall be three Social Chairmen, at least one being a Newman, and they shall be responsible for planning and logistics of Stephenson Hall's major social events, as well as designing a social calendar in conjunction with the wishes of the hall government and the approval of the Department of Student Housing. The Social Chairmen, if they desire, may appoint other Stephenson Hall residents to social committees to assist in planning social events. Appointees must be approved by a simple majority vote of the hall government. The Social Chairmen shall represent Stephenson Hall at All Scholarship Hall Council (ASHC) Social Committee meetings. Two social chairs are expected to attend each Stephenson Hall social event and at least one social chair is expected to attend the social events of other halls.
